The quest for the Kildare club football championship titles begins this weekend
It’s the biggest weekend of the club season so far as the Kildare football championship gets underway this weekend.
Reigning senior champions Sarsfields begin the defence of their crown against Ballymore while newly promoted Monasterevin begin life back in the senior ranks against Clane. Last year’s junior champions Clogherinkoe face Round Towers, who were relegated from senior last year while perennial junior favourites Two Mile House begin their championship quest against Rathcoffey.
As football fever builds across the county, the Kildare Nationalist GAA pundits have made their predictions for the weekend. See if you can beat the pundits this weekend by sending your predictions to [email protected] We will keep a league table of all entries and there will be two tickets for the winner to go to the Leinster SFC first round clash between Kildare and Offaly at Croke Park on 1 June. So get your entries in before the games begin on Friday evening.
