A NAAS based company has made the shortlist for the Best New Start company category in a prestigious competition and is in with a chance of winning €20,000.

Chemical inventory and laboratory software management company LabCup Ltd, which is based on the Sallins Road in Naas has been shortlisted in the Best New Start company category for the Connacht and Leinster final of the 2016 Inter Trade Ireland All-Island Seedcorn Investor Readiness competition.

LabCup Ltd will now compete with shortlisted companies from Louth, Galway and Cavan to win €20,000 to help finance the early stages of its ventures. The winning company will go on to compete in the all-island final of the competition, which will take place on Wednesday 23 November in Belfast.

Eoin Mulvey, Managing Director, LabCup Ltd, said; “It is a huge honour to be shortlisted for the Seedcorn 2016 Connacht and Leinster Final. The competition was an excellent opportunity for exposure, both to prospective inspectors and potential clients.”
