A KILDARE based ag-tech company is one of ten from around the globe chosen to participate in the Pearse Lyons Accelerator Programme. Moone based Terra NutriTECH  will work with Alltech and   their partners Dogpatch Labs to further expand the business.

Specialising in the precision delivery of liquid supplementation for livestock through water systems in operation on farms, the company makes providing supplementation to animals an easier experience for those in the agricultural industry. Farmers are the main beneficiaries of the product design with the important elements of the product being the accurate delivery of supplements, elimination of waste and reduction in labour leading to improved herd health and higher farm profitability. The family company have a five percent penetration within the Irish Dairy Mineral Market.

The innovative technologies used by Terra NutriTECH  were developed by brothers Tom and Padraig Hennessy who founded the company in 2012. The brothers have previously been awarded the overall winners of the National Enterprise Awards, a first for a Kildare company and they are also winners of the Google Adopt-a-Startup program 2018.

The company has recently announced news of a €2 million investment towards Research and Development and global expansion plans.
