A CLANE pharmacy is aiming to score a double victory at the prestigious Irish Pharmacy News Awards which will be held in Dublin this Saturday 18 May.

Clane native proprietor and pharmacist Jonathon Morrissey of Marron’s Pharmacy has been shortlisted as a finalist for the ‘MediMarshal Community Pharmacist of the Year Award’ while member of the pharmacy team, David Collins from Straffan is also shortlisted within the category of ‘Pure Pharmacy Recruitment Community Pharmacy Technician of the Year Award.’

The Irish Pharmacy Awards are an important opportunity for the pharmacy sector to recognise pharmacists and pharmacy personnel who have made a significant contribution to the improvement of patient care and pharmacy practice in Ireland.

Jonathon and David will now join more than 650 representatives of the profession from throughout Ireland at the event, which see winners announced in 14 categories, including Young Community Pharmacist of the Year and Pharmacy Team of the Year.
