PUPILS at Gaelscoil Chill Dara went on strike on Wednesday last to demonstrate their concern about the damage that is being done to the environment.

The pupils hope that by engaging in this action they will draw attention to the huge issue of climate change and the role which people have played in damaging the earth.

The pupils pictured here refrained from smiling for the photograph as they wanted to portray an ‘angry’ image.
