PLANNING permission has been granted by Kildare Co Council (KCC) for an extension to an existing primary care centre located in Kildare town.

The application by Cill Dara Primary Healthcare Ltd sought a partially three and partially four-storey extension to the rear/south of the primary care centre on Old Hospital Street, Kildare town. The proposed building, according to details available on the council’s online planning system, shall accommodate medical services, a café, as well as ancillary accommodation.

The application was received on 21 June 2019, with further information requested by KCC in August. The decision to grant permission was made by the council on 23 September.
