Paddy Woodgate scored a fourth minute penalty, part of a 1-4 tally, and Raheens led 1-6 to 0-4 at half time.

A goal just 27 seconds after the restart from county midfielder Liam Power strengthened their grip on the game.

Maynooth missed a great chance to get back into the game when John McAndrew fired wide in the 50th minute and from there, Raheens saw the game out with an injury time goal by substitute Nicholas Kennedy.
