TODAY marks the inaugural GAA National Inclusion Fitness Day. This is a national event with clubs all over the country participating.
There are many events taking place across Kildare but Caragh GFC, Prosperous, will be hosting Kildare GAA’s flagship event at 6pm to mark this occasion.
The event in Prosperous aims to promote inclusivity and participation amongst everyone in the community with specific focus on ethnicity, age, gender, sexuality and disability.
Students of the Assisted Learning classes of Prosperous Primary School will take part in a GAA For All coaching session, facilitated by David Murphy of Kildare GAA.
Afterwards there will be refreshments and a scheduled visit from special guest, Anne Rabbitte TD, Minister of State for Disability.
This event will be operated in line with all current guidelines.
