FOLLOWING upon the required withdrawal of “second” teams in the Liberty Insurance All Ireland Intermediate Championships because of Covid – 19 Level 5 protocols, a redraw of the Intermediate Championship took place today.

The Dublin, Cork, Galway, Tipperary and Kilkenny teams which had been included in the original draw, were forced to withdraw from the 2020 Intermediate Competition.
Down, Laois and Antrim have been included in a “Winners Group” after victories in their games last weekend and they will be joined by the winners of Meath v Kerry who play this Saturday.
Kildare, Derry, Carlow and the losers of the Meath v Kerry game have been included in a “Losers Group”.
Kildare, who lost the opening round to Laois on a scoreline of 4 – 14 to 1-7, have been drawn against, Derry after the Oakleaf county lost their opening round to Down on a scoreline of 1-15 to 0-9. The match is fixed for Saturday 7 November.
