TRANSITION year students in St. Conleth’s Community College have kept up the trend of winning at Co. Kildare Student Enterprise awards. Students Lucy Nugent, Emily Noctor Kealy, Leah Kagwi and Angel Bayo-Akinyemi took home the award for Best Business Report Award for their enterprise called Care on 25 March.

This is the third time in four years that TY students from St Conleth’s have picked up this award. The students created a Covid care pack and a mental health pack.

The Covid care pack has lip balm and hand creme to help soothe hands and lips when using masks and hand sanitisers. The mental health pack has a candle, sweets and a stress ball to help people through tough times especially lockdown. All packs are sustainable, vegan and cruelty free products.
