They’re back! The Moat Club is delighted to announce that they will be staging Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing this July.
Directed by Lianne O’Shea this outdoor performance will take place in the grounds of St David’s Church of Ireland, Main St, Naas from Tuesday 6 July to Saturday 10 July.
In the 1920s, the old-world order still dominated, but they were also a time of upheaval around the world. They were as well the “Roaring Twenties”, a post-war blow-out that fed out of years of turbulence and a global pandemic in the form of the Spanish Flu. It is therefore in the 1920s that this production of Much Ado About Nothing will place itself.
Social distancing measures will be in place. The Moat Theatre adheres to the latest government guidelines in relation to Covid-19
Tickets are 4 for €70. This includes a pre-show drink (alcoholic bubbles or orange juice)
