KILDARE’S ladies footballers received a welcome boost with the news that experienced and inspirational All Ireland winning goalkeeper, Mary Hulgraine, has returned to full fitness and will take her place on the side that will face Sligo in Kiltoom on Sunday afternoon.

Hulgraine’s undoubted experience will provide the perfect foil for those who will line up in front of her as well as providing a solid line of defence to anything that Sligo might throw at them.
In the only other change to the side that ground out that one point win over Longford is the inclusion of Aoife Rattigan for the injured Roisin Byrne.
Kildare had a comfortable win over Sligo when they met in the Championship late last year and despite having difficulties in front of goals and in putting teams away they possess sufficient ability to clear Sunday’s hurdle and to making a Lidl League Division 3 Final.
