Clongowes reached the Final of the Leinster Schools Senior Cup in 2020, where they were due to play Newbridge College in an All Kildare affair, but because of Covid restrictions the Final was cancelled and both colleges shared the trophy.

O’Leary, who won Heineken Cups with Munster in 2006 and 2008, also played with London Irish and Montpellier in France. The Cork native, son of former hurling star, Seanie O’Leary, won 24 Irish caps winning the Grand Slam in 2009.

O’Leary showed his versatility and fleetness of foot by appearing on Dancing with the Stars in 2018.
