WELL done to all who took part in the Tango Fitness Charity Cycle in Athy.
Members of the gym took braved the elements in Emily Square to take part in a static charity cycle. This is an annual event that aims to raise much-needed funds for St Vincent de Paul in the run-up to Christmas.
With Covid restrictions in place the static cycle started at 9am until 5pm, with one person taking up the bike every hour and two people carrying out bucket collections.
A total of €2,083 was generously given by the people of Athy.
The organiser, Billy Stevenson aka Tango would like to thank the people of Athy and the surrounding businesses for their support.
He would also like to say a special thank you to the clients who gave up their time, gave great enthusiasm and raised vital funds for SVP.
