Table top speed bumps and line marking completed the structural works to the bridge over the Pinkeen stream in Kilcullen this week.

Local councillor Tracey O’Dwyer explained that hedge planting courtesy of Kilcullen Community Action (KCA) and planters will finish off the look in the coming weeks.

She added that it’s great to see the bridge being used and offering a safe crossing for everyone.

“Thank you to HSE Civil Construction and Kildare Co Council, in particular the MD Engineer’s Department for their persistence and help over the past three years to deliver this project for Kilcullen,” Cllr O’Dwyer remarked.
