KILDARE hurling manager, David Herity, has made one change in the team that had that powerful 2-20 to 0-21 win over Kerry on Saturday last, and has selected teenager, Cian Boran, at full forward for the same starting XV for Sunday’s clash with Offaly in the final round of Division 2A of the Allianz NHL in Glenisk O’Connor Park, Tullamore, thrown in 1pm

This is a top of the table clash, both teams are unbeaten on eight points, and both are safely through to a League semi final meeting with Kerry but Sunday’s winners will go straight through to the final.
Not for the first time this year, James Burke, was Kildare’s top scorer against Kerry with Brian Byrne and Gerry Keegan chipping in with the two well worked goals. While it has been great to see the Celbridge man’s welcome return to form over the last two games, the performances of the likes of Cormac Byrne, Paul Dolan, Cathal McCabe and Cathal Dowling really caught the eye.
Offaly, who defeated Carlow 1-19 to 1-12 last time out, have suffered a severe blow as their talented forward, Oisin Kelly, suffered an ACL injury in that game.
