Cribbin takes up the right corner forward position with Jack Robinson, who’s father, Brian, passed away recently, listed among the substitutes.

Otherwise the team is the same as that which started against Dublin in the Leinster SFC semi final and ran the eventual Leinster All Ireland champions so close on the day.

“They were very comprehensive winners in that League and proved that they were far the best side in the Division. That carried an amount of pressure on their shoulders going into the two games that they had to get to the Provincial Final but they carried that without any hassle at all and they produced two fine performances.”

“I’m sure they will be looking to the great support they had down in Breffni to get behind them in Markievicz Park next week,” Kildare manager, Glenn Ryan told the Kildare Nationalist this week.

Kildare will be looking to keep the performance momentum going from the last three games and although they lost against Dublin last time out there was enough there to feel confident of an opening round victory on Sunday.
